     Citizenship responsibilities, like voting, require a combination of both knowledge of the candidates, and of the tools, like Ranked Choice Voting, that give us ways to make our voices heard.  Libraries put more tools into the hands of citizens, empowering better decision-making.  Those tools, like RCV and critical thinking, are some of the tools that any democracy needs:
