What do we learn from season 1, episode 9, and then, my impressions of this episode?
Lessons:
1.) Sometimes, “a little knowledge is dangerous.“
Charging in where angels fear to tread is plain stupid, without knowing the whole story. Humility, it seems to me, is a combination of knowing what you might not know, and having the empathy to be able to imagine that someone else might actually know more than you do, from long hard experience. Oh, wait, that is humility, no?
So:
Always find out the old folks hate each other! It might be important! Like why Derya was kicked out…
And, now we know why Faysal Bey told Leyla all of that, and why he encouraged their relationship.

Duty before all. But people are still people.
Poor Zeynep.
But it gets worse, and if he’d told her, Hakan might not risk losing Leyla.
