La Casa de Papel/Money Heist Thursdays, Part 5, ep. 5: Sacrifice Transports, But Does it Build Empathy?

       So Denver has finally stopped being an idiot.   Who’dve known it was possible.  And Tokyo is finally learning about life, as she is about to give hers to save her lover and comrades:

   “Si tiene el valor de renacer.”  ….  “If one has the courage to be reborn.“

Like Assàne Diope, inspired by the never lethal methods of Lupin:  “…et plusiers vies pour en profiter.”   “…and several lives to benefit from it.” 

Telling the kid to start his next life…   So, Tokyo has also done some growing up.

Wow. 

But, does that mean that she has learned empathy, or merely being sorry for having wasted her life?
