Turkish Tuesdays: Sihirli Annem (My Magical Mother): Cute Theme Song!

I love the theme song of this show:   sihirli_annem_logosu !

“Pembe rüyalar, beyaz düşler
gerçek artık bizim evde
peri annem,babam ve bizlerle
hayat renkli,günler şeker

evde hep gülen biri
sanki o bizden biri
hem gerçek hem de peri
masallar diyarından geldi  (nakarat/refrain)

tüm anneler sihirli ama bizimkisi bir peri

NAKARAT/refrain

annem SİHİRLİ ANNEM”

My translation:

“Pink dreams, white thoughts,

real, and in our house!

My Fairy mother, My dad, and us.

Life is colorful, days are sweet.

We always laugh at home,

except for one, maybe,

both real and a Fairy,

this one came straight out of a fairy tale!  (refrain)

All mothers are magical, but ours is a Fairy!

refrain

My Mother, My Magical Mother…”

I love this show so much that all I have to do is think about this theme song, and it brings a smile to my face.  It has just enough danger and conflict, but it is not nearly as dark as Harry Potter.   I hope it will do the same for you, Dear Reader, in time.
