Do Better Wednesdays, Libraries Working for All, and Wind Turbines in Africa??

A  prompt from old chapter 7, with the old chapter 10 tie-ins that require a world-class library system in every neighborhood:

“I just gave a free debt law workshop at my local library as part of #ProjectDoBetter!”

How many folks recall that Mr. Kamkwamba, the 14 year old boy in the film The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, build that wind turbine thanks to having a library with books that helped him figure out how to build it (Ejiofor, 2019)? More about this in Phase IV…

  1. Shira, for one or the other reason your posts don’t appear in my reader anymore. I will find out why, hopefully. I have seen that there is a draft 7 ready. I was a bit preoccupied last week, with our music gig coming up and so on, but I will start to read again with draft 7. I read only the first two chapters of draft 5. Best regards from Denmark.

    1. This draft should be much more fun to read! I really like most of it, but am considering polishing the Preface a bit more, as it still reads just a little bit choppily, to me, in a couple of places.

Hmm, I don’t think I have changed any of my settings, but I do seem to be mysteriously losing and gaining both followers and following numbers, and often I cannot see at all who has followed me recently, in the Reader notifications. I’ll take a look at my settings.

      1. I looked into my reader settings, all is as it used to be. It happens at random that people fall out of pages as followers. It happened to me and some of my followers as well. The only way to deal with it is to click on follow again. I did that on your page, but I got the message that I am already following you, so that was also as it should be. Anyway I luckily get emails as well and take it from there. I just use another browser alone for WordPress, because in my old browser I all of a sudden couldn’t log in anymore. So I get the emails on the old browser and then have to search for the posts on the new browser. Everything is so much easier with all this Internet stuff … haha.
I am looking forward to start reading again. I will leave the preface out then for the time being.
