This week we are still mourning the fact that Ranger Mayann is prohibited from writing to us from Minbar, where she is stationed.
So where is a galactic library when you need one?! Really!!
I find it a bit easy for Draal to see the humor in sending folks off to be “dissected or” killed in any number of gruesome ways. There is that Minbari humor, I guess.
1. Humor, especially in the face of unavoidable danger, is important. Either that, or the lesson is that if you go picking on beings bigger than you, you’re crazy!! After all, that is what Draal demonstrates, right? Of course, he is not in any danger!
Those faces, Vir’s horrified look vs. Londo’s grim look, Lenier’s sad face, G’Kar’s angry determined face; all jump out at me each episode, thus far, this season. It’s a tragedy that could have been avoided, much like the one our own blue planet seems to be heading for.
Please, let’s work to avoid our own tragedy.
We can really Do Better.
Last Monday’s review was S3e4: Passing Through Gethsemene,
Next Minbari Monday is Season 3 ep6: Dust to Dust…

Nih sakh sh’lekk, sleem wa.
I come in peace, I am your friend.
There are earlier episodes, as part of a letter on the history of the Babylon Project.
Action Prompts:
1.) Share your thoughts on how we Human Beings might start to build a more fully inclusive society for all of us, and how this episode of Babylon 5 could help that process.
2.) Write a book, story, post or tweet that uses these thoughts.
