Thanks to the volunteer currently working on this (see the comments on this post for more…).
For those interested in helping to find or create a logo, Project Do Better, our project needs a pretty picture! I’m not the best at those, and I’m also really tired. I have finally finished the book for Do Better, formerly known as Baby Acres, or Baby Floors, and am out of spoons. So, I am requesting volunteers to help with the work as I prepare to send it out into the world, as yours, Intrepid Volunteers.
I’m still posting the rough draft sections on Wednesdays as a reminder and rallying point, until someone offers to build a site or portal for the set of communities to be built around this project. I offer Do Better as a starting point for guidelines over the next 70 years, with the understanding that the project must be shaped by those who come after me. Thus Do Better, while written by my hand, must be released into other hands to continue the journey. I prepare to do that now.

2.) Share your thoughts on how continuing empathy-building cooperation might help, or hinder, inclusive thinking.

Oui, you’ve picked a tough time of year to look for volunteers! I think most of us are probably pretty tired and overwhelmed this time of year. I know I am! I’m currently exploring the idea of setting up a Sustainability Nonprofit in my community. People were happy to meet with me in Sept and Oct, now I can’t get anything lined up with anyone. I know you want to push ahead to keep the momentum going, but you might have to be patient or pay someone to design your logo. I think WordPress has a working relationship with Fiverr for freelance logo creation. It’s not clear to me exactly what kind of logo you want. A pretty picture, like an actual picture? or A name and/or silhouette that gets imprinted on everything related to Do Better? Good luck!

Ahhh, that explains it! No worries, the project will be here, I hope, even if I am not.
I have no budget, so paying is out, even if I knew what kind of logo might work for the/a community. Do Better, as my WiP, can finish up whenever my Beta Reader gets back to me, and if and when some more volunteer to read, then I’ll do a final edit, publish via some free publisher so I can get an ISBN and put it up on GoodReads, The Archive, and anywhere else that sounds good, and then I hand it off to anyone who is interested, because I am not a community creator, and that’s what the project needs from there, I think.
As for my contribution, finishing and publishing the book so that the project can take it (or leave it) as a set of guidelines is maybe about the best I can do, right now.
