      Yes, I believe it is an oil lamp, which I thought meshed both with the 1001 Nights tradition, and with some of the stories of Elisha (and /or Elija) the prophet extending the oil for the widow to prevent her kids being sold by her creditors.
      There were not too many interesting Public Domain images that went with what I wanted, as I recall, so I had to settle for this one. But I hope it still works?

      I meant to re-link to a class I taught that went over much better than I’d expected, about 10 years ago, but I was too tired, and I really liked this article that I found while searching for an image to go with this re-post.
