  1. This is “sew” (sorry, couldn’t help it 🙂 interesting! I know absolutely nothing about fashion design (although I did enjoy watching Project Runway). But I think it is interesting to see how different industries (or perhaps, how specific people within certain industries/sectors) are looking at sustainability and it’s challenges.

      I love it! It is sew cool! 🙂
      I love making things by hand, and encouraging that as part of both sustainability and as part of alternative economic ideas. Remember, Benjamin Franklin (and some of the other “Founding Fathers,” I think also, but am not sure) encouraged home-spun just as Gandhi later would do, and for much the same reasons, although none of these aristocrats would have been caught dead spinning cotton or wool in public! 🙂
