Moody Mondays, libraries, pantsing, and how emotions show in writing

First of all, none of the writing that I have done could have happened without access to the DC Public Library and the ILL system connected to both the Montgomery County Library system, from which I had to request books rather often, and also without access to the Library of Congress, as I needed access to at least one book, (Subversives, and a few others), so libraries are important!

And so is planning some reflection time into the pre-writing process.

It took me 3 painful drafts to see what was happening in my NaNoWriMo 2012 novel “Angels: Friends or Foes?” -which really was 3 or 4 short stories rolled into an episodic novel, as it turns out in hindsight.

I also see alot of anger and questioning, my then-current mental state, which I was pulling out of the book in order to make it more readable for others, and more enjoyable for myself.  But I had to work through those emotions before I could even see, let alone edit, their effects on my writing.
