Thoughtful Thursdays and an old poem, on emotional health

In this case, from 2014, so, 6 years later:

Fleeting Blue
Transitory Rays
The Smile
Waits to Die

So, it turns out that hiding your pain does not actually help, despite the taboo our society has on admitting ‘the weakness’ of depression.  I’d say that we need far more therapists, and far more access to those therapists, for every human being.  What are your thoughts, dear readers?

  1. I would like to see more publicly funded therapy available. Options are fairly limited in Canada and the UK. While I don’t think everyone needs access to ongoing public funded therapy, for those who do have mental health conditions, therapy should be just as necessary a service to cover as psychiatric treatment.

    1. Thank you, Mayann, for reminding us of this: I believe there are two episodes in which this ceremony is described, and I intend to rewatch both of them shortly, with as many virtual friends as also wish to watch it!
